Copenhagen 29/3 2017. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Fossil of a Dragon Fly on the label. Apparently found around Fur.
Pours clear amber with fairly big yellowish bubbly head. Settles as patchy and thin layer of foam drifting around.
Sweet aroma of caramel, metal, brown sugar and something lightly burnt.
Medium strong carbonation and watery palate.
Flavor is sugary sweet followed by medium bitterness. Aftertaste is burnt caramel and sugar.
A bit too sweet for me. Could easily have been more bitter if this is supposed to be an ESB.

Final bottle. Provided by Spunky. Thanks buddy.
Nice English malt with a subtle little hop spiciness. Get a bit of a sweet water character.
Really attractive. Water clear. Light copper. Full loose head that settles slowly and loudly.
Malt shows a nice bisquit flavor with a more dominant caramel. Touch of dryness that over time increases to eventually provides a long finish. Very mild bitterness.
Carbonationsettles leaving a soft almost moderate body that allows the beer to go down quite easily.
Nice easy drinking English style ale. Session like quality.

500 ml bottle, bought in Hvide Sande, Denmark. Deep golden colour, decent head. Moderate aroma with some malts and fruity aromatic hops. Flavour has some decent hops and notes of toffee, bitter finish. This is an okay premium bitter in my book, but not really outstanding. Like all beers from Fur Bryghus, it is overpriced.
