12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 3/8/2016. Pours crystal clear medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/honey, herbal, light citrus/pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and peasant aromas with good balance of bready malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big cracker, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/honey, herbal, light citrus/pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cracker, toasted biscuit, herbal, light citrus/pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice robustness and balance of bready malt and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Very clean lagering, with zero yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly crisp/sticky, and grainy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a very good pale lager. All around good robustness and balance of bready malt and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Leaning towards the Vienna style a bit on the malts. A very enjoyable offering.

Huge initial head dissipates quickly. The beer is nicely golden-honey hued, and there is plenty of active carbonation to go with the high degree of clarity. The aromas are of floral hops with a nice, fruity wheat backbone. The front end is very heavy and malty in nature, though the hops come through on the back side. For someone who doesn't much like hoppy bitterness, though, I almost wish there was a bit more to balance things out. Mouthfeel is nice, in that it is substantial while also having some crispness to it (the notable high carbonation helps with this.) It's not a beer that lingers unnecessarily or in an unpleasant fashion. All-in-all, a nice beer that lacks a true standout quality. Still, I'd get one for a hot day and be perfectly happy.

Part of the Goose Summer Pack. Poured into a shaker, the beer is a gold with a slight chill haze and a sticky and clumpy off-white head.
It has an aroma of grains, plum and a bit of spice.
The taste is of cereal, spices (white pepper), citrus and crackers. I like this one. It leans a bit to the bitter side of the spectrum, but what doesn’t these days… This one comes together nicely.
It is extremely drinkable at 4.5%. The taste has some nice facets and the mouth is sharp with excellent carbonation.
I would love to see this one offered on a regular basis.

Clear, golden sunset, high carbonation. Crisp light, lots of noble hop. Taste is a bit soapy, not as crisp or dry as the would indicate.

6/19....clear gold, bright, light touches of foam. Strong peppery bitter nose, somewhat smoky. Citrus based bitter flavor. Rinds galore. Juicy bitter, firm and strong carbonation. Flavorful bitter blend. Surprisingly good lager. Perfect for the summer.
