A nice drinkable stout, dark hearted beige full head. Mildly chocolate and molasses, no aftertaste to speak of. Enjoyable even in the summer heat.

Pours dark brown almost black with a nice tan head. Smell is roasted malts, a hint of coffee beans, oats, and chocolate. Taste follows the nose with notes of roasted malts and oats. Hints of chocolate and coffee, come through as well. Feel is a tad light but otherwise good for the style. Medium carbonation. Overall a really well crafted oatmeal stout - GI knows their stouts. Id buy this in 6-packs.

A: Pours a near pitch black with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a nice cap that leaves some spotty lacing
S: Roasted malt and chocolate up front along with a light grainy note and a very light touch of dark fruit
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with the roasted malt and some dark chocolate and goes into some of the grainy/husky notes. Lightly sweet with a touch of bitterness from the roast. Finishes with lingering roast
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation
O: A nice oatmeal stout that is very easy to drink. Seems a lot like the one they used to bottle

A - Dark brown-black body, short tan-off white head, some lacing. Not completely opaque, but dark with brown edging.
S - Pretty quiet. Grain and doughy malt notes, with a bit of chocolate.
T - Full range of bread notes, dark bread and toast, chocolate and coffee, but low acidity, and a mild bite of bitterness in the close.
M - Full for a stout at this ABV, the oats give some heft and slickness, but the beer remains quite easy to drink.
O - This is a lovely standard stout. I like stronger chocolate notes, but this offers a lot of rich bread, a dark molasses bread in a glass. Yum.

This is a very good stout, but the roasted malts are more overpowering than I like for an oatmeal stout which I think of as more creamy and less burnt coffee.
