This appears to be a celebratory one-off for a chain of a dozen restaurants in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), brewed by the Goose Island Brewhouse in Toronto. The front of the can calls this a lager, the back of the can calls this a pilsner, the web page calls it a German lager - and also uses the name PB Golden Brew. Soooo - an identity crisis of sorts.
Clear golden colour under a relatively long-lived head. Tons and tons of fine lace all the way down the glass makes this a pretty beer. Not a really distinctive aroma or flavor to it. Drinkable, competent, better than your average macro, but not really memorable on the first pass. Will have to try again.
