Full Pocket pours a clean pale color, with a big and long-lasting head. The aroma is light, clean, crisp, with a slight bitter hoppy note. The flavor is clean and crisp, with a slight vegetable hop flavor and a slight bitterness, well restrained. Good feel.

How long ago did I rate most of these 26 brews I've drank from GI? I ask this because half of the 26 are no longer active and I'm having trouble remembering when the last one was... perhaps Trump was President for the first time.
No matter. GIBC has lots of brewing skill and still experiments with minor improvements (as In Full Pocket) and it was a good decision to sell out to AB because it greatly expanded the distribution network for craft beer and that has always been -- and still is -- the limit to crafters' serious growth.
As for Full Pocket, its claim to be "Supremely Crisp" is close enough to true for me to agree. This seems to be a re-release as my copy has a BB date of May 2025. Although, I'm not impressed by its looks (needs an active foam.) Smells mostly of malt with just enough classic pilsner hops in the back of my nose. Tastes are balanced as well as the Bavarian masters and seem to use about as much hops. Medium-mouthed, but refreshing for its crispness. If I have Full Pocket again, it will be as a lunch lager.

3/12/25 (Goose Island Fulton Tap Room) (Chicago, IL) - 18 oz Draft Pour - $3.12 plus tax on 312 Day.
Appearance: Golden clear base poured into a long flute, bright white bubble head, heavy sustained carbonation. My beige or ordered, looked great, here we are. 4.5
Aroma: Nice German Pils hops, grassy, salt, mineral water. Comes together well. 4.25
Taste: Consistent with the aroma, hoppy, pepper and salt, grassy, nice. 4.0
Mouthfeel: Light and easy, hoppy, drinks lighter than ABV. Light to mild crisp body, persistent carbonation feels light, dry, lightly bitter, German Pils hoppy finish. 4.25
Overall: This is a solid pilsner, not sure if brewed here or at AB plants, but digging either way. Will look for more down the road. 4.25

"Best by 2/22/24"; drank 2/4/24 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy dull yellow appearance.
A rough pour yielded a huge, noisy bright white head; frothy, tree-rung lacing remained.
Corn, mild lemon & faint cream notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Sweet corn & cream flavors up front; mild lemon with a lager yeast finish.
Solid lager, here!
