Served in a nonic pint glass at the Clybourn brewpub.

Wow, six "Hads" without a full review? Come on, guys. And I'm coming at this from the vantage of my Pre-Gold Box Excursion, no less. *sigh* Anyway, this stuff pours a clear topaz-amber topped by a finger of off-cream-tan foam. The nose comprises soil, earthy greens, what seems like mushroom, and dark greens. The taste holds notes of dark spinach-y greens, light toasted biscuit, and wet moss. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation, a sorta/kinda slick feel, and a sorta/kinda drying finish. Overall, I'm not sure if actual mushrooms were involved here, but regardless this recipe just didn't work for me. It's all far too earthy and dirty (in the strictest sense of the word "dirt") for me to enjoy this all that much. Maybe that's why no one wanted to review this before me...
