A friend had a wedding in Italy and brought this back as a gift. Brewed with chestnuts added to the mash
Appearance: pours a nice head that hangs on several minutes; hazy with a light orange/golden hue like a more colourful wheat beer
Aroma: tangy and tart; getting some lemon
Taste & Mouthfeel: light body; really not a lot of flavour - certainly not what was anticipated by the aroma; continues to feel like a wheat beer, but vegetal rather than citrusy; good carbonation; flavour gets tired and unenjoyable a quarter of the way through, taking on a metallic feel and taste
Overall: one of the few beers I haven't even felt like finishing. The lingering metallic flavour is like drinking liquid aluminium. The rating is saved a bit by the appearance and scent
