A 4.8% premium, British beer, triple filtered for clarity, brewed in small batches at our brewery in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside. Ideal for any Dad. A classic dark ruby beer combining Pale, Chocolate and Crystal malts to give a bright ruby red finish. A light hop combination of Fuggles and First Gold are added to ensure the rich malty flavour is not overpowered.

Since I added Old Farts, I explain my styling as an American Amber/Red instead of being English Pale Ale that this actually Tastes like, but doesn't Look like. So if anyone wants to correct my styling to EPA, they have my vote.
Old Farts Looks about as good as old farts can look; a brown with ruby tinges sits under a generous friendly foam that then sticks around the length and circumference of my nonic. Smells are mostly dark malts. Tastes are well-balanced for this malt-head... but you Young Farts will want more hops. More than medium-mouthed.
As for the very good Overall Hugs I give Staffordshire and their client Cottage Delight; some Overall is for the brewing, some is for the packaging, some is for distribution thru a department store, but the best Hugs are for a great sense of humour so us old farts can enjoy life. Consider the slug on this bottle's label: "It's taken years of practice to become this old." To that, I say "Cheers!"
