Pours a golden/amber color and an airy white head that diminishes to just a lace ring. Aromas floral, light malts, and brightly sweet and sourdough bread. Start out surprisingly with a blueberry like fruit character and quickly turns to the saison spice and yeast characters. Big perfumy florals, pungent and hot spices, coriander, dry fresh hops, piney, and mild malt flavor. Towards the end different characters like honey sweetness, white wine tannin, and diacetyls become more noticeable but many of its particular nuances slide in and out between sips. The yeast takes center stage here and while not getting in the way a nice hop bitterness supports it well. Thin body and a thin, semi-smooth mouthfeel that is a tad crisp is very enjoyable. This is quite an impressive beer from a brewery that has yet to receive proper recognition.
