Yablochny translates to "apple" in English.

It pours a clear deep golden body beneath an thin rim of bright white foam that vanishes as soon as the pour is complete.

It looks like apple juice, it smells like apple juice, and it tastes like apple juice except for a very slight edge of kvass. There's a little bit of breadiness to it; and it has a little bit of that malty/sugary character that kvass normally leaves behind. If you didn't know the kvass was in there, however, you'd probably just think it was "weird" apple juice of clear cider. In fact, I'm pretty sure that this is just a blend of filtered, pasteurized apple juice and Nikola's standard kvass.

That said, it's quite refreshing; and it's not nearly as sweet as straightforward apple juice. On the other hand it's a bit disappointing as it lacks kvass character.
