two 2oz pours: Watermelon Gose what a great idea. Its light yellow in color and cloudy with not much head. the smell is unusual. It actually smells like sauerkraut. I've had wine in the past that had melons added and i got the same smell. This seems to be typical of melons so don’t be alarmed. now for the taste, nice and tart with the classic salt bite you expect from a good Gose. I was told that they used the entire melon not just the sweet core as a result it is very funky tasting. Totally one of a kind smell & taste. I have German blood so i like it. Sauerkraut beer! 4.00
