Redlight Redlight is among the highest quality destinations for craft beer lovers, as long as you are a little more old school in your love of craft beer. This is not a house of hazy or a milkshake sour stand. The heart of this place is rooted in lambics, cask ales, biere de gardes, kellerbiers, and obscure things of years past.. Things that usually end up making a comeback. Which allows this fantastic bar the opportunity to both be reverent in its respect and ahead of the game when nostalgia brings the things they love back to the spotlight.
This review is an amalgamation of three visits over the last three years, and not once have I had a bad experience (yeah, there were some t-shirts that should have been available in more sizes, but who's to blame??) Service is always chill with the knowledge to back up the street cred of a place like this. From the fridges filled with amazing vintage imports to the rotating draft list of insanity, the old homebrew clutter and the unique wrap-around bar, Redlight Redlight just immerses you in craft beer detritus which adds to the ambiance and status.
If you are an aficionado of beer and are drinking in Orlando, you are doing yourself a disservice if you miss Redlight Redlight. May she never change!
Pro tip: There is a grade school behind the strip mall which allows free parking! Just make sure you park in the lot closest to the street or you can get stuck when the long line of parents materializes to pick up their children at 3.

Surprised the selection is not better however they are under slight renovation I think.
Looks like it could be a lot better once renovations are completed.
Also just say the bottles and cans in windows were a surprise given how hot it gets in Florida. Reserve beers were not too tempting because of how they are kept and some looked like their been in flood.

Visited with my wife for post-dinner drinks after eating at Oblivion Taproom (now closed).
Had the following beers here:
Funky Buddha Hop Gun IPA (bottle)
New Belgium Portage Porter (bottle)
Terrapin Mosaic Single Hopped Red Rye Ale (can)
Overall experience was good, and the service was top notch, but the tap list left a lot to be desired, especially for a place that is so revered/highly rated. Hence why I stuck to bottles and cans.

This place is AWESOME!!! The first thing you see is the brewing equipment next to the massive walkin cooler with an outstanding selection of regional craft as well an outstanding international section of ALL beer styles. Redlight has their own beer on draft and they have a bunch of wild ales as well some in casks. Besides the cool 80's emo-rock jamming on the stereo they have yet another set of coolers with "vintage" aged beers for sale to go to do drink on premise. The selection is AMAZING. The bar space is giant and easily can handle large parties with both high top and seated tables. You will be very happy after visiting this beer parlor; I know I was ;)

Stopped in here while at a conference in Orlando. Overall, a nice vibe and very good selection. Not in the realm of places like Brouwers or Falling Rock, but plenty good enough to make anyone happy. Prices were a bit off the charts, but very friendly service and overall worth a stop in if you're in town.

Great spot for craft in bottles and on draft.
Very cozy, food all around in plaza.
Great events.
Brew their own beers, as well.
No DOGS

one of the best around. their tap list is always diverse, the staff is very knowledgeable, they brew their own small batch beers and their bottle list is HUGE.
there's usually a food truck posted up out front on most days. parking can be difficult when they're busy but if you know the area you can find parking nearby.

This place has devolved over the years. They have about 2o or so beers on tap but have played the game of huge price increases with ridiculous 6oz pours. I think they rented more square feet for what they can handle and are trying to screw the customer. You can no longer get a pint or if you can it is a garbage beer for $6. The rest are all tiny pours for 7 to 12 dollars and with bad choices. Hourglass Brewery in Orlando blows this place out of the water. Go to Stardust around the corner, left at 7-11 for less choices but some real good ones for 1/2 the price of Red Light Red Light. Place used to be reasonable with better beers before they moved locations. Bottle prices have become absolutely ridiculous.

Great low key place to really enjoy some craft beers and wine! The barkeeps are knowledgeable and will help you find a good beer, whatever you're in the mood for! Try some vintage beers or even taste some of their own brewed Redlight Redlight beer on tap!

I really like this place. I live about 20-something minutes away and go once or twice a month. I never have had a bad experience during any visit, particularly at the current location. As far as I can remember, RL RL has now had 3 locations (it began over near Rollins College in Winter Park, and then moved to a spot off Colonial Drive, and now it is near Audubon Park/Baldwin Park) and each has had a unique charm/atmosphere.
The bottle selection here is great and the diversity of the drafts is impressive and interesting. Some of the bottles are very pricey, though. I've declined buying certain things due to the price and wish that they were slightly lower. It's not that big a deal, but certain bottles that shouldn't cost so much do cost a lot here.
Overall, this place is great. The employees are awesome and do an impressive job, considering that it gets very busy sometimes and that there is a lot going on during such events as Zwanze Day. I am looking forward to my next visit. Definitely stop in here if you've yet to or if you're visiting Orlando.

Great Bar. Being a patron as soon as I could legally drink I've seen the three variations of the grand bar! Every bartender has great stories, knows their stuff and are able to recommend the beer you want to drink, that you haven't had! If you are ever in the vicinity of this great local establishment, do your self a favor and pass on by!

Their homebrew ran out so I got another DIPA on tap. The waitress covered my beer because I didn't get the one I wanted. Very nice staff and wonderful selection. Definitely going back when I get a chance.

I was staying in town for business and decided to give this place a try. I wasn't quite as enamored with this place as others, but this is probably the best selection in Orlando.
The whole area kind of lacks any real feel to it. It is located in a tiny strip mall with other restaurants and clothes shops surrounding it. The exterior is non-descript, and the interior lacks any feel. It is vacuous with no real attitude or ambiance.
My one complaint, which really isn't a true complaint, just a preference, is that out of the 25 or so taps, there was only ONE, yes ONE IPA. I know not everyone is a hophead, but this is the only BA worthy bar I have been to in the past 6 years or so that didn't have atleast three or four IPAs on tap. The only one available was Swamp Head Big Nose, which was a nice beer. The variety of styles is unmatched, which is most desireable.
The style selection runs the gamut from Altbier to Barrel Aged Saison to Helles to Schwarzbier. The bottled selection was awesome and rivaled any bottle selection I have seen anywhere in Florida. There had to be 500 bottled beers. They even had a huge ass bottle of St Feuillien (sp?) that was a 9L bottle, also known as a Salmanazar, for sale. The bartender said it was about $600.
Service was okay. I wasnt really acknowledged when I walked in and was ignored for about two minutes. After the initial introductions, the servers were knowledgable and conversational.
For beer, this is a true destination in Orlando.
