A complex, medium bodied beer with a champion flavor reminiscent of cinnamon and caramel

On tap at Avl Brew Co's Merrimon location, this ESB is a coppery golden amber ale, with good malt aroma, light tan head. Taste follows nose with appropriate malt body and a good feel and finish.
i love this style, and this is one example that gets it right with the balance.

Draft pour in a plastic glass at the south sloop location. Copper colored and bright with khaki colored head. The aroma is malty sweet with toasted caramel notes. The taste is semisweet caramel with mild hop notes. Perfectly acceptable for pizza and beer at the brewery.

12/27...on tap. Dark bronze with some light getting through. Foamy white lid. Nutty caramel nose. Smooth sweet caramel taste. Really malty. Light carbonation. Sweet finish, minimal hop bite. In fact, more chewy. Pretty good.

Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a hazy, caramel coloring, with an off-white, fluffy head. Nose of toffee and floral highlights. Simple and balanced. The flavors are roasted nut and toffee forward, with a subtle and tangy sweet highlight. Smooth, mid-bodied, with a tangy and richly sweet aftertaste. Smooth, clean finish. Very drinkable.
