On tap at Appalachian Vintner. Gorgeous color. Crisp and delicious. Just slightly tart, with a lot of wine flavor.

Appearance: Arrives the purplish color of freshly pressed blueberries; the head was modest as was the lacing

Smell: Wheat bread and blueberry tones

Taste: Slightly tangy but mostly fruity, with the blueberry flavors coming through; perhaps a hint of Pinot Noir grapes from the barrel treatment but it was hard to detect

Mouthfeel: Light bodied with moderate carbonation

Overall: A pleasant summer beverage but lacks the lactic sourness I would have expected from the style
