Green Man just started ddistributing to my area and I have fallen in love with this beer.
Probably the best American version I've had or at the very least one of them.
Super crisp and refreshing...I'm buying every time I see it and cant seem to get enough....absolutely a delicious offering....between this and the ESB....I'm set....

It has a thin yellow color with plenty of bubbles of carbonation with a white head that lingering around the glass. The smell is the usual malt, bread that one would expect. The taste is a dough bread flavor with a tartness in there also. The feel is light, easily drinkable. Overall an average but nice drink.

12 oz bottle from NC.
Pours with a hazy golden-amber body that is topped with a tall, creamy, durable white head.
Aroma: Herbal, floral and fruity.
Herbal-fruity, hop forward flavor. I
Medium body and medium+ but soft carbonation; semi-dry.

Poured this new Sunseeker Pils by Green Man of Asheville into my tall new pilsner glass from World Market. Great beer and glassware selection there too! Great aromas spring forth, almost like an entry level ipa (reminded me of Highland Daycation or Hi Wire Lo Pitch). Beautiful golden blonde, crystal clear...nice head. Some lacing lingers... Classic pilsner malt profile nose, with a touch more than the ordinary fresh, citrus-y hoppiness. Very Crisp. A little more peppery bitterness than I'm used to in a Pilsner, but it's not too much in general, and I've only had a handful this season. India Pale Pils? Another great brew from this AWESOME BREWERY for the warm seasons. I see no problem pairing this with dinner, and I usually don't have beer with food...try one-or6!

A: Straw colored, white head that left moderate lacing.
S: Bready malt aroma.
T: Doughy maltiness with the ever-so-slight floral hop note. Has a kind of slick tartness to it that I didn't find appeasing.
M: Light bodied and sessionable.
O: A decent pilsner from a great brewery.

Sunseeker is a slightly hazy, effervescent straw-colored beer that wears a medium pebbly white head; retention is brief and lacing consists of sparse swoops and splotches. The nose is light-medium in intensity: a nice blend of apple and yeast with hints of biscuity malt and spicy hops. The palate is predominately caramelish, biscuity malt notes over a largely-obscured lagery grain foundation, offset a bit by a modest spicy/earthy hops presence and accented by a slightly yeasty character and a faint, distinctive herbal top-note that I can't identify. Overall, it comes across a bit on the sweet side of the balance; while the balance point and the flavor profile are not typical of the breed, this is a fairly tasty beer. The finish is a modest hit of caramel and yeast, followed by the onset of a mild, caramelish earthy bitterness that lasts for a few minutes. Mouthfeel is commensurate with the light body, and is slightly astringent and a bit watery on the back end; the texture is slightly creamy, but slick, and medium-peppery from the well-expressed carbonation. This was actually the best Pilsner I've had to date. It wasn't overly bitter and had a pretty good taste to it. I would totally recommend trying.

Poured into a teku pint. Bottom of can says 130716. European Julian date? Weird.
A- Pours a medium golden color with a 1/2 inch off-white head that retains well before becoming a paper-thin ring around the edge of the glass and some light wisps of sheer surface foam. Not-so-resilient lacing leaves small clots behind.
S- Crisp aroma of bready malt that's slightly sweet and a touch of herbal hops.
T- Doesn't taste as good as the nose lets on. Decent malt flavor that, again, is sweet with some doughy malt notes and a light bitterness on the back end. Not enough here to keep things interesting.
M- Somewhat watery with medium carbonation and a light body.
O- Drinkable but overall pretty average for the style.
