I'm impressed with this one from the first taste. Loaded with classic hop flavors and aromas....lemony citrus, fresh pine, some herbal notes. The malt blends perfectly and unlike many DIPA's this drinks clean and without rich sweetness. It drinks more like a regular IPA but is loaded with flavor. Very light bitterness. Great beer. One of the best beers I've had in ages.

Had Rainmaker poured from pint can, bottom stamped "ENJOY [by?] 3/07/2022," and "RAINY DAY," into nonic pint.
Pours deep, cloudy gold with huge foamy off-white head, with good retention, but leaving very little no lace. Nice juicy aroma off pour, settling into mild floral, stone and resin aromas, and finally hints of funky tropical fruit and mild malt. Begins moderately citrus, over some mild but grainy malt, then a bit of resin and citrus rind, sweet stone fruits and something tropical and funky, and finally a resinous, definitely biting, but still a bit sweet and a lot fruity finish.
Not everyone will like so much going on in their DIPA, but I do.

Poured a golden-orange body with decent head and some minimal lace. Aroma has slight tropical notes along with some acidic hops. Medium to full body, rather easy to drink and smooth thanks to low bitterness which is mostly on finish, with a balance between mild tropical fruits and citric hops and a pretty good relaxing beer.

Pretty boozy DIPA and nothing special. Didn't have anything really to get excited about. Could use more flavor.

This poured a bright tangerine with a slight chill haze. Head retention was very good. The aroma was full of orange citrus, tropical fruit and a hint of resin on the back end. Finished with a balance of dryness and malt sweetness. Overall this is a great DIPA from Green Man.
