Look- Hazy orange/gold, almost like a juice, but with a frothy and thick eggshell-colored head, with just a tint of yellow on the white.
Smell- Beautiful smell, you can smell huge notes of clementine and juicy, sweet oranges as soon as you pour it. Substantial malt presence in the nose, smelling mostly of deep, rich honey, and a subtle backbone of hops to tie everything together.
Taste- Honey sweetness and fruity flavors dominate the taste, and this is amazingly sweet. There's a definite earthy hop presence, more like orange peels,
Feel- As full-bodied as IPAs get. Thick and syrupy, which I love.
Overall- An excellent ale, but almost more of a barleywine taste than a true IPA. Either way, an outstanding beer.

With the market dominated by so many "sessionable" ipas, it's nice to have a big, boozey, dank, hopped up, palate wrecking, one bottle equals a buzz, monster double (or in this case "triple") ipa. Nice job on this one Green Man. Even considering pick up more of this one!

Poured into a teku pint. No freshness date.
A- Pours a dark amber color with a 1/2 inch off-white head that retains well before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a mostly full sheet of surface foam. Resilient lacing leaves a thick ring behind,
S- Huge notes of candied orange with a bit of booze. Very nice.
T- More notes of orange and there's great balance of bitterness, sweet malt and hop flavor. Never tastes like a barleywine, just great fruit complexity and just the right amount of hop bite. Sure the booze shows itself but works within the flavor profile in just the right way. Also some notes of grapefruit, mango and papaya.
M- Sharp from the hops but also has a soft creaminess to it. Medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the fuller side.
O- I was hoping this would be as good as the "Triple IPA" they put out a couple years ago named The Beast and it is right on par. So smooth and so tasty.
