Poured into a Sierra Nevada Spiegelau glass. No freshness date.
A- Pours a medium amber color with a 1/2 inch off-white head that retains well before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a full sheet of surface foam. Resilient lacing leaves a thick solid ring behind.
S- Pungent hop aroma brings to mind grapefruit, orange and a bit of spice.
T- Bright citrus and resinous overtones comprise of the hop profile. High level of bitterness and lower level of malt character. Pretty drinkable but the intense hop presence keeps this one a slow sipper.
M- Very tangy and sharp with medium carbonation and a lightish body.
O- Very good but certainly not subtle. Packs a big wallop of hops that doesn't let up.
