A - No head, just a thin white film. The body is golden with good clarity.
S - Fruity yeast aromas with a lot of bubblegum. Some spicy wheat aromas and not much else.
T - Bubblegum and some phenolic, peppery flavors up front. Spicy wheat in the finish with mild bitterness and some peppery hop flavors.
M - Medium-high carbonation, medium body, and a slightly sweet finish.
D - Not bad, but definitely not good either. It is clear that it is a strong golden ale, but it skews towards the more unpleasant aspects of the style (bubblegum yeast notes instead of pepper and tropical fruit) and it just doesn't come together well in the finish.

The beer arrived on the bar lightly hazy pale golden wtih an amber brown hue. The head lasted but an instant wishing it had stayed around to lace the glass.
The aroma was fruity with a strong banana presence and a Belgian yeast spice character, some caramel and some candy.
The flavor was fuity with a bubble gum and banana presence. Their was also a wheat character and the flavor contained a coriander spice and a strong bittering which was both earthy and grassy. Very interesting to say the least.
The finish was dry and grassy with lasting bittering and bubblegum into the aftertaste and beyond. The body was medium with a fairly low carbonation. A nice beer but just a bit overbittered.
Pint at Diry Jacks, listed on the board as 8.8% ABV.
