Another new one from Green Man for me. It was a hot day and something like this really could hit the spot. Very nice and very light yellow pour with loads of carbonation and a nice head of white that reached up nearly three inches before fading back down and leaving some nice lacing on the sides of the glass.

Aroma is light wheat nose, hints of light citrus, and a touch of fresh grass. All very light though and hard to pick up. Clean and crisp, with a very nice and very light body, the flavor was there just not enough to really give it that boost it needed. Nice clean wheat and grain right up front with a touch of light citrus to follow, again nicely done just a bit lighter in profile then I would have liked. Smooth finish and easily session able there were certainly no issues in finishing this one off.

Overall a solid light offering here, just nothing really exemplary.

The beer arrived on the bar lightly hazy golden with an amber hue and a white head that lasted well to lace the glass.

The aroma was strong orange citrus with a nice coriander component and a slight chamomile. The aroma was strongly floral and fruity with a very nicely rounded wheat presence.

The flavor was a nicely creamy wheat presence with a light coriander spice level and a substantial citrusy orange. The beer contacted the palate slightly sweet at first but drying out with the other flavors.

The finish was dry and crisp with a nice lasting orange and light coriander into the aftertaste. The body was medium and creamy with a moderate carbonation level. A very nicely balanced witbier.

Pint at Dirty Jack's.
