One of four experimental beers served at Dirty Jacks, Asheville, NC on 11/27/09.
A - Reddish dark brown body with a minimal head that deposited some spotty lace around the glass.
S - Cinnamon all the way! Very aromatic and spicy, and quite an authentic cinnamon character. Cinnamon Girl smells like a liquid Cinnabon!
T - Obviously, the flavor is pure, unadulterated cinnamon, moving back and forth from spicy to sweet. While a hint of caramel sneaks into the mix, the flavor is just bold cinnamon through and through.
M - Medium body with a sweet but not cloying character on the palate. Residual spiciness and a hint of bitterness quell the sweetness a bit, adding a bit of complexity to the mouthfeel.
D - Bold cinnamon flavor and aroma. Again, is it one-dimensional? Yeah. But, hey... it's cinnamon! Mission accomplished.

One of the 4 Experimental Winter Warmers offer at Dirty Jacks on Black Friday. This brew was made with Sumatran Cinnamon.
A-Bright copper with a thin white head that left spotty lace.
S-Mild spicy kick of fresh cinnamon and an underlying malt sweetness.
T-Spicy cinnamon kick mixes well with rich malt sweetness. Cinnamon takes on the form of the hops in this one offering up a nice spicy zip and touch of building spicy heat.
M-Medium bodied with a building spicy heat. Similar to those red hot candies I loved as a kid.
D-Nice stuff, the spices tasted fresh and bright with a nice underlying malt sweetness offering balance.
