The carbonation was a little weird the color was perfect and it was nice and hazy. There's a bitter citrus taste that I enjoy, but there's also an almost soapy after taste and a weird mouthfeel. The flavor profile intensifies as it warms in a bad way to. It's not worthy of 18.99 for 6. It's drinkable but not special

Pours a hazy straw color with a small white head on top. Has a tropical fruit/citrus hop smell to it. Gives a hop forward taste followed by malt. Faint bit of fruit present.

Giving us beer nerds what we want, Green Man creates a special nectar from all New Zealand hops for that extra herbal and vinous twang.
Pale and lemony straw, the nearly opaque Nerd Nectar comes equipped with a creamy stark-white foam. With a simple pass of the nose, glimpses of tropical, citrus and citronella herb tease the senses. Its sweeter upstart begins with light cereal, shortcake and honeysuckle once on the tongue.
A quick dive into hops reveal fruity impressions of passionfruit, under ripened orange, lemon and kiwi. Juicy with honeydew sensations, hints of sour mango, banana and lychee create a secondary wave of taste. Trending herbal with verbena, green tea, cedar and bay leaf in a smooth but balancing bitterness.
Medium bodied and trending lighter, the session closes with an even keel bitter-sweet balance and a malty-dry aftertaste that takes the shape of fruit peel, herb and hemp.

Picked up a 12 oz single from the Highland Lakes road Ingles on 11-30-23 for $2.00. Enjoy by 5-4-24; consumed 3-19-24. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured hazy gold with a nice white head.
Nose has notes of tropical fruits and citrus.
Taste is really well balanced as the lighter pale malt base lets the hops do their work and gives me an impression of mango, oranges, and passion fruit. Finishes with a nice balancing rind bitterness; 6/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and both smooth and refreshing.
Overall, another quality beer from Green Man!

Enjoyed at Raleigh Beer Garden. Color is straw like. Nose is lemon almost like zest. Taste was typical of hazy. Good for a hazy beer. Bitterness or lack there of was a disappointment

12 oz can from an Ingles Market near the Asheville brewery.
Appearance. Hazy amber colored body with a good white head.
Moderately bitter for the style. Good aroma bit the flavor disappoints.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a slightly hazy golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, some citrus. Taste is grapefruit, oranges, mild bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall it ain't bad.

A: Hazy lemonade yellow with 1-finger of frothy white head with decent retention but sparse lacing.
S: Prominent red grapefruit, orange juice, and mango/guava with light herbal back note. Esters are present but low and mildly fruity.
T: Flavor is excellent with plentiful grapefruit and orange with a big blast of mango-guava in the finish. Esters remain low and generically fruity. Alcohol is hidden. Bitterness is low-medium.
M: Very easy to drink with medium body, moderate carbonation, and soft finish. It has a very nectar-like feel.
O: Impressive beer from Green Man -- excellent hazy that delivers on flavor.
