009/150 purchased first sale day and kept upright in frig.
First pour was clear, light amber, no head, tiniest of bubbles. Hardly any smell, perhaps fresh wheat. First sip sour on the top and the sour on the bottom, not over powering as other sours, just right really. Feels like heavy water going down but the sour cleans it all off. Last pour is hazy but same color and same taste. Best sour I've had this year. Looking forward to opening 071/150 and sharing with good friends.

#47/150, 750ml bottle, split

After Berliners from New Glarus and Upright, this was a bit disappointing - notes of chlorine, apple and pissed bedsheets. The finish is rough - rotten wheat? Was hoping this would be a diamond in the rough, and it just wasnt.

Bottle picked up at Bruisin' Ales in Asheville. Bottle 8/150.

Beer pours a slightly hazy light yellow with a lot of bubbles and a thin white head. Beer has an aroma more akin to a wild ale than your typical berliner, but it's a very nice mix of lactic sour, oak and maybe a little white wine. Flavor follows the nose and is very impressive. It's citrus-y, very tart and some hints of oak and white wine as well as a bit of a cereal quality (Fruit Loops maybe?) that I find sometimes in Belgian lambics. Mouthfeel is light and effervescent but with a nice mouth-coating finish. Overall, I'm pretty damn impressed with this beer, especially since a number of the other beers I had from Green Man have let me down. It's an awesome berliner/wild ale hybrid that really succeeds. Well done!
