Cask at Green Man Brewing, Asheville, NC
A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a finger high tan head that died down a bit but consistently left a thin head covering the surface.
S: Sweet aromas of cocoa nibs are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of cocoa nibs with notes of dark chocolate and hints of sweetness.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I thought that this beer was a lot more drinkable compared to the porter with cocoa nibs because it didn't taste nearly as "fudgy" and went down a lot easier.

First had: on tap at Green Man
Half pour, dark black with a frothy tan cap of head that receded to a ringlet. Aroma of cocoa and dark malts, plain and simple. Nice taste, decadent cocoa, dark chocolate, dark malts with a dose of mild roastiness, but the creamy sweetness was the dominant factor; a little earthy in the finish. Smooth mouthfeel, body was on the fuller side of medium. A good treat overall.
