A collaborative effort between several Victorian breweries.
Quite dark for a Tripel. Amber with a small white head. Poor head retention.
Odd chemical citrus aroma. Quite sweet. A little earthy. Not really Belgian to my nose.
Sweet malt and quite bitter in an American style instead of Belgian type bitterness. Some fruity yeast notes. This is not really a "Tripel".
Medium body with moderate carbonation. Too thick and too flat.
I don't get it. This isn't what it claims to be with the hop and yeast character being way out of style.
