Tap only.

This is a big malty beer with a lot of personality. It pours opaque black with a thick, light tan head, about a finger in height, short duration but lots of sticky legs. The smell is roasted malts and faint coffee. The flavor hits you with lightly sweet malt backed with toasty, roasty bitterness and a rich, boozy, coffee backbone. Almost no hop bitterness, this bad boy is MALT FORWARD! The feel is silky smooth, very low carbonation and a warming (11%) alcohol texture. It's almost closer to an Imperial Stout or a coffee porter than a brown ale. I'd have this again, just not too many.
