Big raspberry aroma, light grain. Slightly watery body in flavor, a touch sweet, with raspberry throughout. Not much wheat character. Needs more support.

Reviewed from notes. On tap at the brewpub in August 2009.
Pours a clean golden color with perhaps only the tiniest bit of haze. Good white head and some nice lacing. The nose is semi-tart wheat along with a good dose of raspberry. The taste is wheat and raspberry and not too much else. Not terribly complex, but pretty nice. Light body and easy drinking. Nice that this doesn't taste like so many fruit APWAs that are just over the top syrupy and fake.

Poured off the tap by our friendly server a clear golden color with a fluffy white head. Decent retention and some scattered lacing. Delicious aroma of fresh raspberries and some grainy wheat. Flavors were very 'fruit forward' as the wine geeks say followed by a tart wheat balance and some citrus (grapefruit?). Clean finish that gets a little bitter as the hops appears when the brew warms to room temp. Light body and light carbonation completes the beers refreshing, summery mouthfeel. A great picnic beer and a stellar choice for encouraging panty removal. What? I call it like I see it.
