Bright, glowing, ruby/cherry red body with a pink head. Surprise, surprise, cherries in the aroma, sweet with some tartness, and some spicy notes of pumpkin, nutmeg, and cinnamon. What were some light notes in the aroma however were quite pronounced in the taste, as the first thing I said to my buddy after my first sip was, "Wow, spicy." Definitely not overdone spiciness, but you definitely know its there, cinnamon, nutmeg, and whatever else makes up pumpkin style spicing. This is not to play down the cherries however, because juicy fresh cherries are the base of this beer. Sweet and tart cherries, but not quite like sourness of a lambic. I have had nothing like this, that's for sure.

Overall: imagine throwing a cherry pie and a pumpkin pie in a brew kettle, this would be what you would get. It reminded me of Thanks giving dinner the whole growler. Its a week later than I tried this beer as I sit here typing this from notes right now, and I still don't really know what to think of this beer. It was pretty damn good.

Opaque red with a finger of pinkish-white head this beer looks quite interesting. The aroma of the beer is acidic with a strong scent of cherries. The taste is sweet, tart, and a bit sour all at once. Cherries are the dominant flavor as you'd expect. A light to medium body and a tart aftertaste are present too. Definitely an interesting beer that goes down pretty easily. Give it a try!
