A-Very clear light orange color...not much lace in the glass after pouring from the growler.
S-Very spicy and earthy....licorice...anise...cinnamon...some alcohol...dried out old orange's without a lot of juiciness...maybe some nutmeg??
T-Similar to the aroma....licorice...earthy and spicy...
M-Light side of medium bodied...feels clean...finishes with a little dry note.
D-Not a bad beer but not a great one either....a little too heavy on the spices for my tastes...still a nice stab at a unique beer you don't see too often at brewpubs...

A - Poured a golden yellow color with a small, bubbly, white head. It left soapy trials of residue.
S - It smelled very funky and of horse blanket.
T - It had a very fruity and spicy taste. Kind of a band-aid funk, too.
M - It was crisp and smooth. A light bodied beer that had a warm alcohol presence.
D - This is very true to the farmhouse style. Good funky characteristics.
