Destiny IPA pours a cloudy dim amber brew with a 1/2" head cap leaving decent lace. Malty aroma mostly with some apple notes. Quite a surprise on the palate with a sugary sweet orange peel and Spre candy zest. Fel is super frothy. A gummy dextrinous feel with a starchy dry aftertaste. My best guess is Centennial hops? I really mulled this one over and I couldn't really say thumbs up or down, but it's zesty and orange Tang like. Worth trying. One of my three for $10 Beers. Cheap!

Very hazy orange color with a short 1/2" head. Some light lacing develops through the drink. The aroma is of light pine cones and mild caramel. The flavor is overdominated by the strong piney bitterness, as the caramel and orange citrus take a backseat. The dryness is stronger than expected.

Medium bodied brew. The mouthfeel is generally smooth with a light crispness. The finish is dry and the bitterness lingers on the tongue for a while.

The drinkability is average for me, as the dryness of this brew left me wanting a glass of water instead of a second pint.

This decent American style IPA is hoppy, sharp, bitter and dry over a biscuity and slightly caramelish malt base. It's not mainstream, and it's not full-throttle, but I'd definitely call it aggressive (which I like!). I'm not sure how it will sell with the regulars, but at least they're not pulling any punches here. Cheers for brewing an IPA that actually tastes like an IPA!

Appears a hazy cloud of unfiltered amber with a decent 2 finger white head. Spotty lacing is left.
Smell is of citrus and pine with a mild caramel malt.
Taste is about the same as the aroma. Very clean and nice.
Mouthfeel is ok. Some bitterness is balanced out with malt and just a touch of thin water along the tongue.
Drinkability is good. I was pleasantly surprised as the IBU's seem to have been kicked up a notch and there is evident dry hopping in the aroma since the initial offering. Good work, Emerson!
