Pours a hazy amber topped with a solid 1/2" khaki cap that soon settles to a razor thin island, leaving some slipping lace in the glass. Light aromas of apple fruit that leads to a quite orange like hopped pale ale. A bit of tea like astringency and a chalky dry finish. Good pale that is quite chuggable and drinkable. One of three for $10 which is a good deal.

Oddly enough, the only beer that failed to deliver for me at Destiny was their Pale Ale. Of course, that just means there's a reason for me to go back! I'm guessing that the batch I had picked up a minor infection along the way as it exhibited some phenolic character that I didn't find in any of their other beers. Everything else was very clean and well done.
It poured a mostly clear golden body with orange highlights beneath a tight and creamy head of off-white foam that held fairly well and left minor lacing about the glass. The nose was citrusy, but again, a slight touch phenolic. It was medium bodied and lightly crisp. The flavor was well-balanced with a sweetish bready malt accented by grassy, citrusy, and even lightly spicy hops. Unfortunately, the phenolics crept into the flavor as well. Overall a good show.... and I look forward to a better version of this beer!
