Served in a standard pint at the brewpub, the beer is brown with amber highlights. It has a sticky beige head.
The Aroma is of lightly roasted malts, a bit of brown sugar and some citrus.
I like this take on a brown. It is malty with some sweetness, but the beer has some nice citrus bite from the hops. Caramel backed with spice.
The mouth is spritely with more carbonation then I expected. But it works.
This is a great session type beer. Lots going on and its all good.
