I've had this many times at the breweries and in growlers. As a hefe it's very well made...semi cloudy golden yellow with significant head and lace. Aroma of amber malts, banana, slight apple. Medium mouthfeel and carbonation. Flavors of light malts, slight banana, slight citrus. Overall very easy drinking and tasty.

On tap at the Broomfield, CO location.
This one poured a medium and cloudy golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas of lemons, bananas and very light spices. Tastes of cloves (stronger than the aromas), bananas, and wheat.

Bottle obtained from the brewpub and consumed about a month later. Pours a half finger nearly white head over a cloudy light manilla colored liquid. Smelled of bananas during the pour. To the nose is bananas, a solvent (rubber cement?), and some clove. The smell leans toward wet sweet rather than phenolic spicy zing. Tastes pretty simple. Wheat gluten, yeast, some malt sweet, cloves are stronger than banana, but banana is noticable. The aftertaste has almost a gentle citrusy character, that may actually be the result of a fine carbonation sting on the flat of my tongue. The aftertaste also ahs a hint of nutmeg.md-light body and moderately, but sharply carbonated. Overall, the beer has a bit of a watery quality...but what do you expect from a hefeweizen?
