Howe Sound Brewing 'Devil's Elbow IPA' @ 6.0% , served from a 1Litre Pot-Stopper bottle
A-pour is dark gold from the bottle to a clear dark gold in the glass with a small beige head leaving a streaky lace along the tulip
S-kinda malty , sweet caramel , mild hops
T-ok English IPA , malty sweet
MF-decent carbonation , medium body
Ov-glad I finally tried it ,

Appearance - Pours a copper amber with two fingers of off-white head.
Smell - earthy, leafy, and hint of piney hops, caramel, bready malts, and hint of citrus.
Taste - The earthy, leafy, and hint of piney hops are at the forefront. The bready malts follow suit alongside the caramel, hint of citrus, and a touch of nuttiness not obtained in the aroma.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with light to moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops lingering.
Overall - An enjoyable brew that displays some American IPA characteristics (ie. the hops). This is more hop-forward and the malts are more on the English side of things. I have to start sampling some more of Howe Sound's brews in the near future.
