Stopped in here on a day trip from Vancouver. A little out of the way but well worth the drive. Great open space in the pub with vaulted ceilings and a great view of the mountains. Great section of beers on tap and wide range of styles represented. Service and food were prompt and tastes great. Lots of bottles available to take home with sections that weren't available on tap

selection of 20 different beer, even a pinot noir oak barreled pothole filler! Very good. All food dishes looked appetizing, service was very good with lots of staff all over the place, it was busy. Great building with view of the "Chief" mountain.

Huge selection of their beers including four seasonals.
No duds at all and high marks go to Devils Elbow IPA and Diamond Head Oatmeal Stout.
2oz tasters are $2 each with seasonals being $2.50.

Nice that their Sunday brunch was served till 1pm. Had a delicious veggie eggs benny that I would definitely have again -- but it needs to go on a smaller plate and the potatoes should be cooked more.

TVs all over the place.

If there was one thing I think they could improve upon it's the bartenders. I sat at the wood and the service was polite and prompt but they need to be more social and loosen up a bit. Take care of that and this place becomes a top destination worth the drive.

One of BC's top beer and food destinations IMO.

A high-end brewpub with above average food, and a great selection of beer.

I love Howe Sound's brews, so this was a kind of nirvana for me to finally go to this great place.

Atmosphere is one of a typical higher end pub, and although we went in the early afternoon of a monday, it was still quite full of beer drinkers and great conversation. nice comfortable seating as well.

Quality of the brews is exceptional, we had quite a few to choose from on the day we were there, with myself trying the best bitter, king heffy, and rockfish red ale.

Service was great, as we got served quickly, and our server was very friendly, with great recommendations for the one beer newbie in our group.

Selection was good, with, like I said, quite a few different beer s for us to have.

Food was great, as I had a hamburger, cooked medium rare, and it was quite tasty.

In terms of value, compared to other brewpubs in BC, it's quite reasonable. I could have easily spent more money, but It wasn't the type of place to bankrupt you. :)

I will be going back. :) Hopefully soon!

A: The taproom is a wide open hall made of wood, with wooden beams up above. It is almost a combination of a log house and a ski chalet. There is plenty of space, and the east side of the building is all glass and faces the chief mountain that people climb. A nice patio for summer weather, this would be a great place to sit by the fire and watch a hockey game in the winter. What I liked is that the space is not cramped, like some bars in the city.

Q: Both the beer and food were of high quality.

S: Service was attentive.

S: Selection was good.

F: Food was very fresh and everyone who ordered it seemed happy with their choices.

V: Prices for beer was average, but considering the price of the Howe Sound beers elsewhere; this is a good place to order sleeves in order to test out their available selections. What got me was that they had a number of main courses for only $13.

O: One of the best brewpubs in BC, this easily rivals the Central City Brew Pub.

This brewpub is arguably as good as it gets in B.C. if not west of Quebec. A smaller town, about halfway between Whistler and Vancouver. Large room, a patio, a good sized bar. Good beer, including seasonals and the odd weekly cask. Everything available in bottles at some time, mostly 1 litre jugs, and this is the freshest place to get it from. Friendlier than most places I have been to in B.C. to date. Good service, these people actually smile. Lots of parking out front. A pretty thorough lineup with 8 beers on Sunday, 6 on during the week.

Started off a night out in Squamish here. Tone fits very well with Squamish. Medium to high end pub but with a real local feel. There on a Friday night and the had 10 dollar pitchers (!!!) of all their brews, fantastic, but it got a bit messy.

My food picks were great. Brewer's platter was piled high with incredibly tasty sausages and three dips (chutney, sauerkraut and hot mustard) and finished with a nice big pickle, perfect beer food. Had an ale and cheddar soup on the side for an extra dollar, it was super tasty. Friends weren't too impressed with their own choices and kept trying to poach mine. Oh, and the yammer jammers were fantastic.

IPA was nice with a good hop attack, but too strong for my friends so after that it was mostly honey lager, which was decent enough if not my favourite style. Had an oatmeal stout as well and quite enjoyed that. No descriptive reviews because it was a big time session. We enjoyed the night.

This is one nice brewpub with all the highceilings and westcoast wood motif. The patio is protected from the often strong winds in the region by glass partitions.

The service was super friendly to the point where they let me go back and see the brewpub which is gravity fed. Food was excellent and I reccomend the yam fries and the Baja Taco was full of delicious cod.

The beers are mostly very good with the Baldwin and Cooper's Bitter the most consistent year round. I thought the Hefe was one of the best in BC.

The price is priced reasonably for a high quality brewpub so give Squamish a try for all its outdoor activities.
