Picked this up on a trip to BC. It's not available in Alberta as far as I know. 1L bottle poured into a 1L mug.

It pours a dark, but fairly clear reddish brown colour with a nice foamy tan head.

The aroma is very nice! lots of rich malts, some caramel, with a hint of hops filling out the background.

This is an excellent tasting beer! The malt flavour is sweet and subdued. It's smooth and slightly toasty, but quickly turns to crisp hops. It's a great and flavorful beer!

Overall, this beer is very well crafted and highly drinkable. It's sad that I'll probably never get it again.

Has this at the launch party at St Augustines. This is a great session beer that brings the hops but anchors it on a strong malt backbone. I drank more than a few of these and they never got got tired or unintersting. Very drinkable but complex enough to make one want his beer in cans ( as a canning line is coming soon0

The next in line of Howe Sound's beers that support a cause. Similar in vein, to Boomer's legacy, but a bit hoppier. Hazy copper colour with a creamy head. Bready malts with a citrusy background in the nose. The hops are a bit more prominent in the taste, and the malts come off a lot creamier than the smell suggests.

Good carbonation - gets a bit smoother as it warms. A good session beer.
