2013 Limited Edition Canadian Whiskey Oak Aged.
Appearance. Pours pretty darn black with a finger of light tan head.
Smell. Dark chocolate, fresh oak and rye whiskey, a little molasses.
Taste. Dark roasted malts (slightly bitter), cocoa powder and a little molasses, light notes of whiskey and some toasted oak.
Mouthfeel. Medium body, below medium carbonation.
Overall. Nice to see something new like this, but I prefer the base beer.
