Had on tap last night.
A- Pours a golden yellow color. One finger white head shows low retention. Light streaks of lacing on the sides of the glass.
S- Light grassy aroma gets covered up by pale malts. The overall aroma is muted and this in itself was hard to pick up without actually sticking my nose almost in the beer.
T- Sweet grainy cereal malt taste in the front. Some pale malts in the middle kind of calm down the sweetness. Little spruce like bitter hops balances out this beer and cuts the sweetness. Not much going on though flavor wise.
M- Light mouthfeel. Carbonation is good for the style. Cereal malts left on the palate with light bitter hops and faint alcohol added in the aftertaste. Clean tasting for what it is worth along with the flavors blending. Light alcohol drying on the palate.
D- The drinkability on this is high from the lower ABV. I personally wouldn't want to have more than a glass of this before going onto something else. The BA version of this beer on the other hand though is amazing. I wish they would make more of that instead of the regular.
