On-draught @ Founders.
A: No head. No lacing.
Body is an opaque solid black. No yeast particulate or hop sediment is visible.
Sm: Dark malts, chocolate malts, hints of rye malt, marshmallow, and cream. Has a boozy warmth.
Aromatic intensity is average.
T: Shallow and reticent as hell, with no vivid or expressive notes whatsoever. Dark malts, faint cream, chocolate malts, a kiss of rye spice, and a hint of roasted barley.
Not gestalt, but cohesive. Balanced but not dialed in. Average flavour duration and intensity.
Mf: Smooth and wet. Overcarbonated. Medium-bodied. Not oily, chewy, syrupy, or sticky.
O: Drinkable for its high ABV. But not the quality one would anticipate from Founders. I wouldn't get it again.
