This beer poured a dark bronze color with a good sized white head. Lots of bubbles racing to the top. The smell was very nice. Lots going on. Lots of different hop tastes and some maltiness there as well. The taste was also nice but not quite as nice as the smell. I notice a caramel sweetness upfront with a bready base underneath. There seems to be some butterscotch in there as well. The only problem with the malts is that they seemed a bit cloying, but it wasn't really unpleasant but not great either. The hops were earthy and bitter towards the end. This seems to be a quality in many organic beers. The finish was dry and spicy. The body in this beer was medium in thickness but not too smooth. That's ok though because this was a very flavorful beer.
