I had this one at the Harvest celebration and then again last night while taking some notes. The pour is really dark with a creamy tan head. Smell is very strong on the hazelnut flavor. I had trouble picking up much else but the hazelnuttyness but it was quite nice. The taste had more of that hazelnut dominance but there was also a coffee flavor that followed but didn't necessarily go hand in hand with the hazelnut flavor. The body was really creamy and smooth and made this beer extremely drinkable. The finish is soft and a bit sweet, reminiscent of the breakfast stout. Simply a very, very enjoyable beer. It seems that when Founder's makes a beer with a certain flavor in mind they really make that flavor come out. Sometimes that doesn't work (chamomile ale, cherry pale ale) but sometimes it is awesome! (chocolate rye porter, this beer)
