Snifter on tap at Founders Taproom
Color is a crystal clear golden (honey really) and non-existent head.
Aroma is largely boozy, with alcohol, bourbon and oak standing out in that order. Honey sweetness is detectable through it all, but definitely in the background.
Taste is where this really comes together. The honey sweetness makes up ground and slightly overtakes the barrel characteristics.
Mouthfeel is heavy, aided by low carbonation. Bitterness is low to non-existent.
Overall, BA Honeystuff is a great dessert beer and comparable to mead. The sweetness may get to some, but it worked great as an 8 ounce pour.

Had this at Founders Cellar Raid 2016. I just thought this one was way too sweet. The first sip was good, but after that it was like drinking straight honey. I had to have someone help me finish it even though it was only an 8 oz pour.

Damn this was good. Honey, barrel, what more could you ask for. Had CBS the same day and liked this better. I hope this shows up again in the tap room, excellent!
