See-through red/purple appearance; champagne bubbles throughout.
A rough pour yielded a HUGE khaki head; strong, frothy lace.
Caramel, baking soda & grapefruit notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Caramel & baking soda flavors up front; grapefruit bite on the finish. Faint booze heat notes emerged as this warmed.
Almost a baby American Barleywine; this was drinkable but not real enjoyable. Pass.
