This Founder's offering seems to mimic the Zoomer Wit from New Holland but not quite as good. It comes a very hazy golden color with a little sign of carbonation but not real lively. Aroma is dry and yeasty along with an artificial, almost adjuncty corn note. Becomes more citric towards the end. Taste is extremely dry, esp when cold. Almost ridiculously dry. The body is rather thick for the style with lots of yeast in there. Slight spices come out but I don't know if they're added, there might be some coriander, but I think it might be the phenolics from the yeast. Wheaty, grainy husks come through in the finish and linger. Lemony citric qualities become more apparent as this beer warms but it still doesn't come out like I'd think or want it to. All in all, a bit of a letdown.
