Porter - Port Wine Barrel-Aged

Very nice barrel-aged beer sampled on tap at Founders. Nice dark brown color with some mild head and spotty lingering lacing. Smells of brandy, wood and a little coffee and chocolate. Tastes similarly, along with caramel, vanilla and malt. Nice and smooth, mild alcohol warming and slightly creamy mouthfeel. Great amount of carbonation. Very nice beer that should be sipped and slowly savored. Tastes even more smooth as it warms slightly.
