On tap at brewery:
Pours a deep red-auburn, with a seeming purple influence, perhaps from the blueberry. A contrasting white head was not prominent on this pour, but a medium thin collar throws some lace against the glass.
The blueberry comes out in the nose, and perhaps with the honey influence seems a bit sweet (but not quite artificial). There’s a little bit of a husky malt presence with a deeper inhale. Interesting but leaning more fruity than honey/malt beverage.
Taste has a similar fruit leaning right out of the gate. The honey aspect is noted around mid-taste. Having had meads, the malt is mostly obvious in body. There’s a slightly grainy aspect (again, like the malt husks got involved). There is a slightly more artificial aspect to the fruit flavors in the taste, though it most likely how the components come together. At most, there’s some clean bittering from some ingredient (traditionally not necessarily hops), initially. As I drink through, a more piney aspect comes out, like fresh pine needles, but they are still integrated into the overall beer/mead.
Bordering on a fruit beer and given my limited experience in braggots, I’m not sure how easily they can/should crossover. The beer is dangerously easy to drink, with a light and slightly effervescent feel.

Very nice new beer sampled on tap at Founders. Amber-red color with scant head and some very spotty lingering lacing. Smells mainly of fruit notes, along with some honey and caramel. Tastes of blueberries and cherries, a little caramel and vanilla and then faint notes of honey and malt. Mild mouthfeel with just a touch of creaminess, higher ABV is well hidden and good amount of carbonation. Overall beer feel reminds me of a Rubaeus. Very nice, will try more of this style.

Pours crimson red with purple highlights , 1/4” head. Great lacing.
Blueberry syrup from ihop.
Taste is tart blueberry, overall sweet, earthly, clean. Finishes tart. Reminds me of a craft wine cooler, if that was such a thing. No alcohol, easy drinking,
