Excellent new imperial IPA tried on tap at Founders. Light amber color with a little white head and some spotty sheets of lingering lacing. Smells amazing - piney and citrus zest hops. Tastes of slightly bitter citrus zest hops - grapefruit, orange, lemon, tangerine - as well as piney hops, vanilla, caramel and a perfectly balanced malt backbone. Just the right amount of hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Smooth slightly creamy mouthfeel, great carbonation. Very nice lingering hoppiness on the palate. An excellent imperial IPA that hides its higher ABV very well!
