Very good imperial IPA sampled on tap at Founders. Slightly hazy, orange-yellow color with a little head and spotty lingering lacing. Smells of nice citrus and piney hops. Tastes of some nice citrus zest hops - orange, grapefruit, lemon, mango. Also tastes of some floral and piney hops, vanilla, caramel and malt. Smooth mild mouthfeel, slightly creamy, perfect amount of carbonation. Higher ABV is well-hidden. Great mild bitter bite at the end, very pleasant. Nice and juicy. An outstanding imperial IPA that I could only hope would one day be more readily available.
