Kind of a weird pairing of different elements - bourbon and wood and chamomile and malt. Tried this one on tap at Founders. Nice golden color with some nice head and sheets of lingering lacing. Smells faintly of malt, wood and a little hops. Tastes very unique and a little strange - there’s the wood and bourbon and malt, sure, but right up there in front is this strange floral, almost creamy bright note that must be the chamomile. It’s a little obtrusive and overbearing. Nice mild mouthfeel, slightly creamy, and good carbonation. But it’s hard to overlook that burst of overly-sweet, fragrant, overwhelming flower.
