Great new beer sampled on tap at Founders. Smooth, flavorful, creamy, rich, complex. Pours a nice deep brown-amber color with glorious looking white head and sheets of lingering lacing. Smells surprisingly faintly of malt, roasted nuttiness and a hint of bourbon. Tastes of nuttiness, bourbon, oak, vanilla, caramel and a touch of milk chocolate. Also some medium roast coffee, malt and toasted grain. Great mouthfeel - creamy, deep, rich, smooth, coats the palate. Good carbonation. An excellent beer that’s dangerously easy to drink and the higher ABV is well-hidden.
